Our Fabrics

At Ivy Mae we always source the highest quality fabrics for each individual garment we craft. We primarily use Organic cottons but also include some other components depending on each style and what features are crafted. Read about our fabrics below. 

Organic Cotton
Organic Cotton is cultivated without harmful pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, making it better for the environment and safer for our skin. We choose organic cottons to provide high-quality, soft fabrics that are gentle on young skin while also contributing to a healthier planet for future generations.

Linen
Linen fabric has several advantages, including being breathable, durable, moisture-wicking and naturally hypoallergenic making it a comfortable and sustainable choice for clothing and home textile. 

Spandex
Spandex is a soft, stretchy and durable fabric. Despite it's benefits we limit the use of spandex in our collections. Our approach is to incorporate spandex only in blends with organic cotton where stretch is necessary. This decision aligns with our commitment to environmental responsibility and ethical fashion.
