 Our Story

I Graduated school with no idea of what I wanted to do in life, apart from travelling so booked a ticket to Sydney, Australia. Went all by myself as a 19 year old. 

Found the man of my dreams there and moved back to him, became a step mum and worked alongside him at his gyms. I knew that I wanted to do my own thing one day, and that the gyms was his passion, I just couldn't figure out what my passion was. All I knew was that I wanted to become a mother. 

I almost started an activewear brand but lost interest, then I was into creating a pyjama store but again, lost interest. When we finally had our baby girl join the family 2021, it hit me that Baby & Children’s clothing was what I wanted do. I had finally found my passion in life and suddenly nothing seemed impossible. 

I spent hours and hours every evening scribbling names on a piece of paper trying to find a name that I loved. Nothing felt 100% and I eventually wrote down my daughter’s name and thought, would it be weird to call it Ivy Mae? I loved it!  That’s how Ivy Mae became, Ivy Mae.

I absolutely love what I am doing, and you are all making it possible, so thank you for being here. Ivy Mae - where neutral patterns meet soft threads and create magic.
